Beginners Aerial Silks SUN Aug.19,26,Sept.2,16, 2012 (5:30PM-7PM)

Our next 4 week Beginners Aerial Silks course will be on August 19,26,Sept.2,16, 2012 at the Lansdowne Church, Great Western Road, Glasgow.

This 4 week course runs from 5:30PM-7PM each Sunday.

Course Contents:

Easily the most graceful of the aerial arts ( Andy G's personal opinion) the Beginners Silks course offers you the chance to learn how to climb, wrap, and maybe even drop around the suspended material, all the time staying in the air.

While you don’t need to be super-strong or bendy to join in, the lack of a nice solid bar to hold onto with Trapeze means that this course is the slightly harder one of the two….not that that has stopped many of our students who have come for Silks first and only had a go at Trapeze later on.  This course is excellent for building core strength and grip.

The class is structured to start with a warm-up and stretch, followed by some conditioning exercises on the ground and with the equipment in the air, progressing to simple tricks and wraps to hold you off the ground.

There is provision in the Sunday Beginners class for those that already have some experience in Silks and want to progress with a more Intermediate level of training.

This course will be running for 4 weeks at the Lansdowne Church, Great Western Road, Glasgow.

The cost will be £50 per person for the course and will be taught by Andy Green. Places will be limited to 12 people.

Students who wish to attend the beginners trapeze class in addition to this class can get a discount when booking the two together, contact us for the discount code.
