Ben Collis
An Edinburgh resident for 6 years and an acrobalance practitioner for 5, you can find Ben training and playing acro pretty much anytime and anywhere, from the Briggait circus space inGlasgow, to his kitchen inEdinburgh. Ben teaches Acrobalance with Aerial Edge, and has taught workshops with Aviatricks, the Beltane Fire Society, Astro Gymnastics, Room2Manoeuvre dance, the Edinburgh Aerial and Acrobalance Convention, and in various other contexts.
He has written a beginners acrobalance syllabus and is passionate about sharing the empowering fun of acrobalance. He has participated in Acrobalance Masterclasses taught by Fons Benink and Mimbre, and has trained in Germanyand Holland.
Performing experience includes various corporate events for Edinburgh Performers and Aviatricks, cabarets at the Big Red Door and Cabaret Noir, club nights, as part of an ensemble piece at the Mega Yurt Festival and a pop up acrobatics show with Voice Box Acro at the Edinburgh Fringe.
