Acrobalance consists of partner lifts and balances, where the base lifts his/her partner in many different poses and positions. Many forms of acrobalance incorporate throws and tosses and other acrobatic maneuvers including counterbalancing and hand balancing.

Hand balancing is the art of performing acrobatic maneuvers while supported wholly by your hands or arms.

Acrobalance can be performed in groups of two, three or more.

A performer on the ground doing the lifting and supporting in an acrobalance formation is often called the base, while a performer being lifted or tossed can be referred to as the flyer (or flier).

Our acrobalance course will consist of the following:

  • Warm up
  • Conditioning
  • Learning of moves/sequences from our beginners syllabus
  • Warm down.

This class is from 7pm to 8:30pm on a Thursday in the Briggait, 141 Bridggate, Glasgow G1 5HZ
